Phases 2, 3, and 4 of City’s road rehabilitation program set for this week

It will be a busy week for city crews as the next three phases of the City’s annual road rehabilitation program are underway.

Phase 2 of the program will see three locations have roads milled and repaved. This includes:

– 108 street between 76 avenue and 84 avenues

– 97 avenue between 116 street and 120 street

– 102 street between 117 avenue and 124 avenues.

Crews have been permitted to work overnight on all three Phase 2 areas to minimize traffic disruptions.

Phase 3 will begin Monday with work in the Ivy Lake Estates area on 104 avenue, between 88 street and 92 street.

Meanwhile, Phase 4 won’t begin until Thursday in the Mountview area on 109 & 110 avenue, and 92 A, 92 B, and 93 street.

Both Phase 3 and 4 will see work down between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

All work on all 3 phases will be weather dependant.

$9.7 million will be invested into Grande Prairie’s road network with all phases of the annual road rehabilitation program.
