Grande Prairie Piranhas swimmer Catherine Minic (pictured, right) has claimed her third medal at the Canadian Junior Swimming Championships.
She took bronze Monday in the three kilometre open water swim in the 15-17 age group.
Minic had already won two silver medals.
Another Piranhas competitor, Jordan Greber, had what the team describes in a Facebook post as a “good 16th place” finish in her 1.5 kilometre open water swim. It was her first time in this event and she was up against athletes older than her.
