Sexsmith Christmas Hamper Campaign receives second big donation from NTL Pipelines

The Sexsmith and Area Food Bank is celebrating after receiving a second large donation this past week.

NTL Pipelines donated $15,000, which will go to the Sexsmith and Area Christmas Hamper Campaign.

Naomi Robinson, FCSS Coordinator for the Town of Sexsmith, says it is great to have NTL donate not only once, but twice so far.

“It’s always fantastic. Christmas is the season to think of others, and this statement is so very true for NTL and John and Jodie Neudorf. Sexsmith and Area Food Bank and Christmas Hampers is extremely honoured and grateful for their generosity, donating another caring gift to strengthen and connect our communities.”

NTL previously donated $10,000 in October when the campaign first began for the year.

The campaign looks after the areas of Sexsmith, Bezanson, Teepee Creek, Clairmont, La Glace, and all of the rural areas in between.

“We do a fantastic campaign in Sexsmith. They get about four boxes of non-perishable groceries, and enough food to feed them for approximately a month, so it’s just a wonderful addition, it will complete our hampers,” says Robinson.

She says that for those looking to apply to receive a hamper or looking to donate, they can contact the Town of Sexsmith.
