Primary Care Network says it is still open

Jan 16, 2020 | 5:30 AM

Grande Prairie’s Primary Care Network wants to clear up some confusion.

Primary Care Network says it started getting phone calls from people concerned that it was closing down.

The confusion arose when PrimeCare closed it’s Swan City clinic.

Primary Care Network says in a written statement to Everything GP that it wants to let people know that it is open as usual. There is a similar post on its Facebook page.

That same statement says the Network is helping a doctor from the clinic that closed “transition to new surroundings.”

The Network says anyone who was a patient at the clinic that closed and is in need of a doctor can check here.

The Primary Care Network operates an after-hours clinic, a support program, plus programs for allergies and persistent pain. That after-hours clinic is located in the Oak Ridge Business Centre on 105 Street, located near the entrance to the Royal Oaks neighbourhood. It opens at 5 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m Saturdays and Sundays.
