Peck withdraws from Iditarod

Mar 18, 2020 | 2:52 PM

Bezanson musher Aaron Peck has withdrawn from this year’s Iditarod.

Peck decided to pull his team out Monday after some of his dogs developed a cough.

A post on the Aaron Peck and Elevation Sled Dogs Facebook page says this is “disappointing and sad” but that the dogs always come first. (Please see the post below.)

Peck and his team had completed 714 miles of the 975 mile Anchorage to Nome race.
