Swan City Rotary Club cancels 2020 Cash and Camping Lottery due to COVID-19

The Swan City Rotary Club announced it will be cancelling the 2020 Cash and Camping Lottery due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a release, the Rotary Club says they decided to cancel due to health risks, such as social interaction during ticket sales, and that they feel there would be very little public interest during the health crisis.
They also said it could create a significant financial risk to the Swan City Rotary Club if the lottery were to fail, and that they want to support the Government and Public Health Official’s advice and efforts to stop the spread.
Both the Cash and Camping and Cars for Christmas Lotteries have been run by the club over the last 20 years, raising over $11-million overall.
