Gravel road ban lifted in City of Grande Prairie

The City of Grande Prairie has lifted its gravel road ban, effective May 29.

A 50 per cent axle weight gravel road ban is still in place in the County of Grande Prairie until further notice.

Road bans are announced annually during spring thaw to prevent excessive damage to gravel roads from heavy traffic loads.
