Work to replace two water valves starts in Beaverlodge Monday

Jun 20, 2020 | 7:00 AM

Public Works in Beaverlodge will be replacing two old valves in the water system starting Monday.

They are located at the northeast corner of 6th Avenue and 11th Street.

The Town says in a release that the water will be out for two to three hours each on Monday and Tuesday and that a boil water advisory will be in place starting Monday.

When flushing is done Wednesday, the water will not be safe for use.

A boil water advisory will start again Thursday and stay in place until Alberta Health Services says the water is safe to use.

Residents in that area are advised to have enough drinking water on hand for 48 to 72 hours.

The full schedule can be found here.
