City launches 2021 budget survey

Jun 25, 2020 | 5:58 PM

The City has launched its community engagement survey for its 2021 budget.

The survey also has several features that will include an “idea space” to share thoughts and brainstorm about the future of the community and a Q&A space to ask administration questions about the budget and get live responses.

Along with the survey, the City has launched an online budget allocator which will give residents a chance to view how much of the average annual tax bill goes to each City service and vote whether they would increase, maintain or decrease funding for each item.

The budget allocator and survey will be available from June 25 – July 15 and the data will be given to City Council prior to its budget deliberations on November 4, 5 and 6.
