It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Juill (McKone) Rude announce her passing on August 20, 2021, at Vernon Jubilee Hospital at the age of 83.

Margie is lovingly remembered by her children Sherry (Lauren), Dawn (Bradley); grandchildren Troy (Kristin), Chandelle, Britney and Kaden; great- grandchildren Taylor, Kolton, Raya, Ariella and many cousins and extended family.

Margie found great pride and joy on the farm with horses and other family pets. People were always stopping in for a visit when driving by. It was a welcoming environment for everyone and made such an impact on everyone’s lives especially the grandkids. They would go stay at the farm every chance they could, with the comfort of walking in the kitchen, radio playing country music and grandma showing her love by cooking or baking things for everyone to enjoy while she would laugh and talk about old stories or reminisce about how she loved going to nursing school.

When not on the farm Margie would be traveling on the rodeo trail around Canada and US with her youngest daughter Dawn, which has given each of us unforgettable memories together.

After Margie sold the farm she made the move to Armstrong, BC to be near oldest daughter Sherry and in the winter months she loved going to Texas to be with Dawn, Brad and Kaden.

Margie was such a little spitfire with a great sense of humor.  I hope she knew how loved she was by everyone and all the lives she touched. There is comfort in all of our hearts knowing she is now with her son Darwin who left us too soon, her husband Floyd and the rest of our loved ones up there.

May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall soft upon your fields, & until we meet again,

May God hold you in the hallow of his hand.

Margie will be brought to rest next to Floyd and Darwin with a private family memorial at La Glacé cemetery.
