Bressey elected Alberta Municipalities director for mid-sized cities
Grande Prairie City Councillor Dylan Bressey has been elected as a director for cities up to 500,000 with Alberta Municipalities, following a nail-biter election between himself and the mayor of Airdrie.
The election for the Alberta Municipalities board of directors, previously known as the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association, took place at the annual convention in Edmonton on November 17-19.

“This is an election that was done by my peers from city councils across the province, and to have your work recognized by your peers is always an exciting thing,” said Bressey.
