Grande Prairie looking for new CAO

Horacio Galante has resigned as the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Grande Prairie.

City hall says in a news release council has accepted his resignation.

“City council thanks him for his years of service and leadership to the City of Grande Prairie. His work has been valuable in improving the services offered to the City of Grande Prairie residents,” says the city that release.

Arlen Miller, the current Community Services Director, will become the acting City Manager.

The same release from city hall says that a search for a permanent replacement “will be undertaken by city council in the coming months.”
