Ribbon cut to officially open new Composite High School
Students, teachers, and local dignitaries were on hand Tuesday morning for the official opening of the new Grande Prairie Composite High school.
At over 16,500 square metres, the new Composite high is the largest high school north of Edmonton.
It is a fact that Grande Prairie Public School District Superintendent Sandy McDonald is particularly proud of.
“Grande Prairie Public school division is I believe the largest school division north of Edmonton, and all of the students come from the city of Grande Prairie. Having this school provides opportunities for our students and staff and our community. The scale of the building, the size of the facility, and the opportunities it presents is what excites us about this.”
