Whispering Ridge school to be recognized by 3D Children’s Society

The 3D Children’s Society will be making a special presentation to Whispering Ridge school on Wednesday.
The school will receive the Ryan Wagner Memorial Award, which is presented annually to the school that raises the most money for the 3D Charity Hockey and Soccer tournament.
The award was established in honour of Ryan Wagner, who fought life-threatening illnesses from birth before passing away from cancer in 2016 at the age of 19.
The 3D Children’s Society uses funds raised through the annual tournament and other events to pay for fuel, food, flights, medical equipment, and other items for local students that are battling life-threatening or serious medical conditions.
