Bob Marshall selected as new Reeve of County of Grande Prairie

For the first time since 2012, the County of Grande Prairie has a new Reeve.

Division 5 rep Bob Marshall was elected by his fellow council members to take over the Reeve position during County council’s organizational meeting on Monday..

Marshall, who has represented the area that includes Beaverlodge and Albright since 2013, replaces Leanne Beaupre as reeve.

Beaupre has held the Reeve’s position for the past decade and will continue in her duties as the division 3 rep on County council.

Division 6 councillor Peter Harris was re-elected as Deputy Reeve, a position he has held since October 2019.
