Individual displaced following house fire in Coachman Village

On Tuesday night around 9:50 p.m., the Grande Prairie Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the neighbourhood of Coachman Village.

Two engines, a ladder truck, and chief vehicle responded to the scene where a mobile home was on fire with smoke coming out of the attic space.

Crews accessed the home quickly, but had to be removed from the structure due to the unsafe attic fire conditions.

The fire was extinguished without damaging adjacent structures and homes.

The lone occupant of the home has been left displaced due to the damages the house sustained, but did have personal items retrieved by fire crews once the fire was under control.
