Traffic signals at downtown intersection to be repaired

Work begins Tuesday on repairing the traffic signals at the intersection of 100 Avenue and 98 Street.

The project is expected to take 1-2 weeks to complete, but during that time north and southbound traffic on 98 Street will be reduced to one lane in either direction between 99 and 101 Avenue.

Westbound traffic on 100 Avenue will not be affected by the work.

Meanwhile, pedestrian detours will be set up and signs will be in place to help guide people get through the area on foot.
