Holiday Hours

City announces facility operating hours for Labour Day

The City of Grande Prairie has announced its facility holiday hours for Labour Day. (Monday, September 4)

Most City facilities will be closed for the holiday:

• City Hall: Closed
• City Service Centre: Closed
• Bonnetts Energy Centre: Closed
• Montrose Cultural Centre: Closed
• Grande Prairie Museum: Closed
• Dave Barr Community Centre: Closed
• Activity and Reception Centre: Closed
• City on 99: Closed

However, some city amenities will remain open with limited hours:

• Aquatera Outdoor Pool: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Ernie Radbourne Pavilion at Muskoseepi Park: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Eastlink Centre: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Design Works Centre: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Transit will also operate on holiday hours on Labour Day, running from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In a release, the City wants to remind residents about other events taking place on the holiday weekend, such as Experience Grande Prairie taking place Friday, September 1, and free access to a number of city facilities for Alberta Day, on Saturday, September 2.
