Grande Prairie Volunteer Award nominations closing

Friday is the last day for Grande Prairie residents to submit their nominees for a pair of awards recognizing standout volunteers.

Nominations for the George Repka Outstanding Achievement Award and Bill Bowes Volunteer Organization of the Year Award close at midnight.

The awards recognize individuals and organizations who have benefited their community through meritorious service, voluntary contributions, and exemplary community development.

The award winners will be formally recognized at the City of Grande Prairie Corporate Volunteer Recognition Event to be held at a later date.
