Fire Cadet program being shown off at schools this week

Representatives from the County of Grande Prairie’s Regional Fire Service will be visiting schools this week to promote their Fire Cadet program.

The program, sponsored by ATCO, allows students that live in the County or the Towns of Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Wembley to develop important life skills while gaining a better understanding of fire fighting as a career, as well as earn high school credits towards graduation.

Firefighters will be visiting:

Beaverlodge Regional High School – Tuesday, January 16 at 9:30 a.m.
Peace Wapiti Academy – Tuesday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m.
St. Joe’s CHS – Wednesday, January 17 at 9:30 a.m.
St. John Paul II/Faculté St. Jean-Paul II – Wednesday, January 17 at 1:30 p.m.
Sexsmith Secondary School – Thursday, January 18 at 12:30 p.m.
