City of Dawson Creek entering Stage 2 Water Conservation measures February 5

The City of Dawson Creek will be entering Stage 2 Water Conservation measures in early February.

While the measures are in effect, residents can not water their lawns unless it’s on specified days and times, must not use a hose to wash boats or motor vehicles, or haul bulk water for non-potable use.

This restriction does not impact drinking water or commercial hauling.

Water levels in Dawson Creek are currently being impacted by a historic period of drought in British Columbia, a potentially frozen Kiskatinaw River, and increasing demand for potable water.
