County of GP Fire Cadet program launches Feb. 16

The County of Grande Prairie is officially launching their ATCO Fire Cadet Program on Friday.
The program provides hands-on training and high school credits to local youth to help them develop important life skills while gaining a better understanding of firefighting as a career.
The launch will include a celebration featuring County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service Chief Trevor Grant, ATCO Vice President of Operation Amanda Mattern, and County Reeve Bob Marshall.
The program will run for one school semester.
