LaPrairie Works Inc. purchases Carwald Redi-Mix’s Slave Lake and Wabasca operations

Highway and bridge maintenance and civil construction company LaPrairie Works Inc. has purchased operations from a concrete and aggregate supplier that started in the Peace Region.
Carwald Redi-Mix’s operations out of Slave Lake and Wabasca, Alberta will now be making products for LaPrairie customers.
As part of the acquisition LaPrairie has taken on Carwald’s employee team and previous owner Ken Porisky has joined the company to assist with the transition.
Carwald was originally founded in 1958 by Carson and Walter Porisky to service the High Prairie and Valleyview areas.
