Mar 26, 2024 | 2:15 PM

Starting on Monday, April 1, multiple City services located at City on 99th, will be relocating to the Coordinated Care Campus.

Six services will be making the move; Enforcement Services, Mobile Outreach, Community Social Development, Housing & Homelessness initiatives, the Grande Prairie Police Service, and the Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership.

This move is anticipated to take two weeks, with some service disruptions expected, however according to the City, “All critical services will remain available to residents, to ensure service continuity and a seamless transition with minimal community impact.”

In-person services and payments for things like animal licencing, parking ticket payments, SUPERPASS reloading, and applications for the Recreation Access Pass, Transit Access Pass and Explore GP Welcome package, can still be done at City Hall.

Services currently available online will remain available on the City’s website during the move

In the release, Mayor Jackie Clayton said, “This move is not just about a new location; it’s about bringing together various services under one roof and enhancing our ability to serve our community efficiently and effectively. The City is committed to ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining the high quality of services our community relies on.”

The City would also like to advise residents, as the Grande Prairie Police Service administration team transitions to their new home, this move does not affect police services.

The Grande Prairie RCMP remains the police of jurisdiction.

Anyone wanting more information about the move, or to stay up to date on the transition, can visit the City’s website.

In the release, the City said “they appreciate the public’s patience and support during this time.”
