Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital emergency department without a physician 8:00 AM, Sunday, March 31 to 8:00 AM Monday, April 1

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital emergency department will be likely be without an on-site physician Sunday.

Due to the inability to secure physician coverage, there is expected to be no on-site physician from 8:00 a.m. Sunday, March 31 to 8:00 a.m.Monday, April 1.

During this time, nursing staff will remain on-site to provide triage and assessments and potential referrals to emergency departments in neighbouring communities.

If patients call 911 with a medical emergency, EMS remains available to transport them to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital for treatment.
