City of GP extends deadline for Treaty 8 monument artist call-out

Local artists have more time now to submit their Request for Expressions of Interest to the City of Grande Prairie for an upcoming project.

The City has extended the cutoff date for submissions to create a monument celebrating the 125 anniversary of the Treaty 8 signing to June 12.

Interested parties still have time to submit up to three conceptual sketches for a monument to be placed in an outdoor public location with no restrictions of the type of materials used.

The signing anniversary is happening June 21.
