Grande Prairie Cenotaph rejuvenation committee meeting

The committee looking to rejuvenate the Cenotaph in Jubilee Park is holding an organizational meeting on Tuesday, September 10 at the Grande Prairie Legion.

Both the Grande Prairie Legion and Veteran’s Association will be pooling resources for this project; However, Grande Prairie Legion First Vice President Frank Skolly says volunteers do not need to be a member of either.

Since it was first unveiled in 1959 the Cenotaph has gone through multiple repairs that have changed its appearance.
