GPPL recovers stolen items

The Grande Prairie Public Library has provided an update regarding its stolen equipment and recent break-in.

In a post on social media, GPPL thanked “the RCMP for locating the stolen gaming computers and returning them to the Library.”

However, as staff review the equipment to determine if everything is functional, some items “appear to be damaged.”

Those damaged “teen gaming computers” will need to be replaced and anyone wanting to help, can visit the library’s donation page, and select “teen gaming computers” from the drop-down menu.

In the same post, GPPL said they would like to thank the community, ” for being so supportive during this tough Saturday”, and City staff for working to repair the smashed window so quickly.
