Power Outage

ATCO reports multiple outages

ATCO Electricity is reporting four outages, as the Pipestone Creek issue has been resolved.

According to the ATCO outages map, there are currently outages in Silver Valley, Donnelly, Nampa, and La Galce.

At this time, the Nampa outage is affecting 856 customers and the cause is unknown; it was expected to be restored by 1:30 pm., however, it is still listed as active.

An outage in Donnelly is currently affecting 1,992 customers, and is said to be restored by 4 p.m.; the cause of this outage is also unknown.

The cause of the La Glace outage is not known at this time, but it is affecting 21 customers.

The Silver Valley outage has been attributed to defective equipment and is affecting 49 customers. Crews are working to restore power.

In Pipestone Creek, 31 customers were affected, and it was attributed to a fallen tree.
