Multi-vehicle collision on Emerson Trail

UPDATE: 5:01 p.m. The County of Grande Prairie says emergency crews have now left the scene of the crash. Traffic control is still in place as tow trucks are working to clear the scene. Drivers are asked to use caution and follow the directions of the traffic control people.

The County of Grande Prairie is asking motorists to use caution when approaching the intersection of Emerson Trail, also known as Highway 672, and Range Road 74.

A multi-vehicle accident has been reported at that intersection and may be affecting traffic flow.

Due to the low visibility and poor conditions, the County says drivers should use extreme caution when approaching or find a different route entirely.
