Storm rookie receives third AJHL weekly award

Grande Prairie rookie Alec Hall has once again been selected as the AJHL’s rookie of the week; thanks to a six-point night in the storm’s two-touchdown win over the Devon Xtreme.

On Friday, February 7, Hall recorded his first career hat trick and added three helpers to push the Storm to a 14-2 win over Devon.

However, the next night (Saturday, February 8) the Xtreme forced a shootout decision, which saw the Storm drop that game 6-5.

With that performance, he now moves to eighth in rookie points, while the Storm currently sits second in the North division.

For the Storm, it is the home stretch of the regular season as they only have 14 games left, starting with a home-and-home series against Whitecourt this weekend, who sits first in the north.
