Grande Prairie Rural RCMP relocating

Grande Prairie RCMP’s Rural Detachment is relocating.

Effective February 24, the detachment will now be based out of the Western Alberta District Office on Westside Drive.

The move will allow rural officers to continue providing the same level of service to communities like Sexsmith, Clairmont, Teepee Creek and DeBolt, while the Grande Prairie Municipal RCMP detachment ceases operations in those communities.

“The Grande Prairie RCMP Rural Detachment is moving forward to better serve the needs of our community starting with a move to the Western Alberta RCMP District office. This move will not affect our day-day operations and calls for service will continue to be answered 24/7”
