Poor road conditions across northern Alberta

511 Alberta is reporting snowy conditions on a large amount of Alberta highways today. (Thursday, March 13)

In a post on social media, 511 says highways in the north and north central parts of the province are all either fully covered or partially covered with snow, along with some icy sections.

Drivers are asked to travel with caution today as accidents have a higher chance of occurring during times of low visibility and poor road conditions.

Already an accident was reported to the EverythingGP newsroom on Highway 43 eastbound near Wembley, however, traffic has already begun flowing once again.
