Town of Grimshaw to celebrate 100th birthday in 2030

The Town of Grimshaw is starting the preparations to celebrate their 100th birthday.

Grimshaw turns 100 in 2030, and the Town has launched a web page where residents can share ideas on the best ways to mark the occasions.

Festivities being considered include a parade, street festival, community art projects and more.

An idea box is also available at the Town office, and the Multiplex and Peace Country Co-op, for residents to physically submit their ideas.

The Town plans to share some of the ideas submitted over social media, to gauge the public’s reaction and ensure they make Grimshaw’s centennial a year to remember.
