Bezanson pays tribute to Daren Zenner

Jun 18, 2026 | 6:06 AM

Bezanson has put up another sign that pays tribute to someone who grew up there and went on to do big things.

A post on the Discover Bezanson social media page, says that a sign honouring the late Daren Zenner has gone up along the same road where the sign that salutes rodeo cowboy Dusty LaValley is also located.

Zenner was a boxer and, at one time was ranked seventh in the world by the World Boxing Organization, and fought for the World Light Heavyweight title.

The post says everyone gathered on May 30, 2026, on what would have been Daren’s 55th birthday to honour his life and accomplishments.

Zenner passed away in 2020, a few weeks shy of his 49th birthday.
