PCFAC earns league accolade

The Peace Country Female Athletic Club has been given some league honours. 

It has been named the first recipient of the Program of the Year Award by the Alberta Female Hockey League. 

The organization says in a social media post that this is “a testament to the dedication of our players, coaches, volunteers, families, and supporters who continue to help grow female hockey in our region.” 

The club announced in May that it would be adopting the crest and colours of the new Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves women’s hockey team that starts play this fall.
