Fog advisory lifted, smoke advisory still in place

UPDATE:

The fog advisory put in place this morning by Environment Canada has been lifted.

The orange smoke advisory does remain in place, as wildfires continue to burn north of Alberta.

Heavy fog is being reported across the Peace region.

As a result, a fog advisory has been issued by Environment Canada, alongside the orange air quality advisory issued yesterday (Monday, July 20) that blankets most of western Canada.

Visibility on local roads is minimal, and drivers are asked to use caution.

If travelling today, residents are recommended to use 511 Alberta to check for up-to-date road conditions,
