Storm to play first road game of the season Wednesday night, Flores captures weekly award

The Storm will be in Whitecourt tonight (Wednesday, Sept. 23) for their first road game of the season.

 Grande Prairie opened the season with two wins at home over Bonnyville last weekend.

Forward Sean Richards had a goal and three assists in those opening games. Defenceman Quinten Flores and forward Easton Goulet each had four assists. Treysen Miller had two goals and one helper. 

As a result, Flores has been named the AJHL Defensive Player of the Week.

 The Wolverines split their two opening games with Devon.

 Tonight’s game starts at 7 p.m.
