Village of Berwyn announces second by-election to fill vacant council seat

The Village of Berwyn has announced a second by-election to fill a vacant seat on village council.

The by-election will be to fill the seat left vacant following Councillor Jane Weber’s resignation Aug. 22.

Nomination packages are being issued Monday, with anyone interested in serving their community to file their nomination by Oct. 19, and the by-election scheduled for Nov. 9.

Berwyn just recently had a by-election resulting in Kenneth Montie’s appointment to council.
