Unbelievable moments between two lynx captured by Grande Prairie photographer

A catfight caught on tape has many people watching and listening in amazement.

Amos Wiebe, the man behind the camera at Famous Amos Photography says on his Facebook page he was driving down a backroad in the boreal forest last week near Grande Prairie when he “had one of the most epic experiences” of his life. Wiebe says he noticed some movement about 80 to 100 feet up in the treetops and it turned out to be a pair of lynx that appeared to be fighting.  He said they sounded like they were screaming at each other.

According to Wiebe, the male lynx chased the female lynx up a tree and she started swatting at him. The male left, only to return about an hour and a half later.  He ran up the tree again, but the female wasn’t having it and once again gave him the boot.

The entire thing was caught on video. The video that was posted on Facebook had been shared more than 10,000 times by Monday afternoon.
