Forest lessons for 1000 Peace Country kids

More than 1000 Grade 6 kids from around the Peace Region will be getting lessons on the forest over the next few days.
 
They will be taking part in the Walk Through the Forest Monday through Wednesday at the Wapiti Nordic Centre.
 
Uban Forestry and Wildlife are a couple of the topics that will be covered. Community volunteers will act as instructors.
 
These walks are held every year to mark Alberta Forest Week.
