Drillers win first game of season in Airdrie

The Grande Prairie Drillers were victorious over the weekend for the very first time this season.
Grande Prairie knocked off the Airdrie Irish by a score of 21-9 on the road in Airdrie.
The win was even more impressive for the Drillers as they travelled down to Airdrie with just 16 players.
The Drillers now sit with a 1-6 record on the season.
They will play their final game of the regular season on August 11th when they host the Lloydminster Vandals.
