Brewers off to Division Final following Wildcard win over Dawson Creek

The 2018 Wheatbelt Baseball League playoffs kicked off Tuesday night.

The County Brewers hosted the Dawson Creek Dodgers in the 1st of two Wildcard games.

Home field advantage paid off for the Brewers in the contest as the walked away with a 9-2 victory over the Dodgers.

With the win, the Brewers advance to the Division Final to face the Rycroft Rage in a best of five series.

A date for game 1 has yet to be announced.

The 2nd of the Wildcard games will be played Wednesday night as the Grimshaw Huskies head to Manning for a meeting with the Mets.

The winner of that game will move on to battle the Peace River Stampeders.
