Mets win low scoring game 3 against Stampeders

It was a defensive duel Monday night in the Wheatbelt Baseball League as the Manning Mets were in Peace River for game 3 with the Stampeders.

The two clubs combined for just six hits and the Manning Mets scored the only run as they earned a 1-0 victory.

The win gives Manning a 2-1 lead in their best of five series with the Stampeders.

Game 4 is set to be played Wednesday night in Manning.

The other Division Final between the County Brewers and the Rycroft Rage will resume Tuesday night.

The two clubs will resume Game 2 of their series which was delayed due to darkness.

It is currently tied at 1.

Game 3 of the series will be played following the conclusion of Game 2.
