Government ad campaign continues push for Trans Mountain pipeline

Sep 13, 2018 | 4:04 PM

The Alberta government has taken out newspaper ads across Canada saying the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion delay is costing the country $40 million per day.

The ads come two weeks after the Federal Court of Appeal squashed Ottawa’s approval of the project.

Premier Rachel Notley says she wants a clear plan from the federal government to get the project back on track.

The ad campaign urges readers to take action and let Ottawa know it should minimize any delay to the expansion.
