Travis Toews is the U.C.P nominee in Grande Prairie-Wapiti

Travis Toews has won the United Conservative Party’s nomination in Grande Prairie-Wapiti.

UCP leader Jason Kenney shared his thoughts on the Grande Prairie-Wapiti candidate for the 2019 provincial election.

“Born and raised on the family farm, Travis has a deep understanding of Alberta’s rural way of life,” said Kenney. “As the owner of both a cattle ranching operation and an oilfield environmental company, he has a unique perspective on the two industries that power the Alberta economy, and the damaging effects that NDP policies have had on both the agriculture and energy sectors. This experience will be a huge asset as we work to present Albertans with a common-sense alternative to this NDP government and I am pleased to welcome Travis to the United Conservative team.”

The announcement was made on Friday.
