Cannabis rules in communities around Grande Prairie

In smaller communities around Grande Prairie, smoking marijuana is not permitted in public.
That includes Wembley, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, Valleyview, and Fairview.
There are exceptions in place for medicinal cannabis in many communities. Many communities also have retail store proximity rules and residents are required to get a permit to grow plants int heir homes.
Falher does not have a cannabis bylaw in place but Federal and Provincial rules are in effect.
