Storm thunderstruck in Drayton Valley

It was an all-weather match-up in the AJHL Tuesday as the Grande Prairie Storm were in Drayton Valley to tangle with the Thunder.

The Storm were playing their fourth game in five days as they met the Thunder for the first time this season.

Despite outshooting the Thunder 49-26 in the contest, the Storm fell 4-2.

Going into the final frame, the Storm trailed the Thunder 3-0 but were able to claw their way back in the game with goals from Bryce Osepchuk and Walker Cote.

However, the comeback fell just short.

With the loss, the Storm drop to 14-14-2 on the year.

They will look to get back in the win column Saturday night at home when they welcome the Sherwood Park Crusaders for their annual Teddy Bear toss game.
