Vipers look to snap losing skid while Kings aim to extend winning streak

A busy North West Junior Hockey League weel kicks off Wednesday night with a pair of games on the schedule.

In Sexsmith, the Sundown Oilfield Services Sexsmith Vipers will be looking to snap a 7 game losing skid as they host the Fort St.John Huskies.

Vipers Head Coach Rob Lavalley knows his club will have to limit the Huskies offensive opportunities.

“We kind of match up pretty similar to us. We have similar styles. They have lots of team speed and smarts. We need to hold their shots down, we need to keep them to the outside, and we need to be physical. We have picked that up in the last few games and it seems to have given us some more time and space.”
