Storm blanked as win streak ends

A goal 1:39 into the first period was the only marker that the Drayton Valley Thunder would need as they knocked off the Grande Prairie Storm 1-0 on Friday night. 

Tanner Hopps had the power play goal for the Thunder, while Luke Lush made 21 saves for the shut out. 

At the other end, Kaeden Lane was exceptional for the Storm, making 42 saves.

The loss snapped a three game winning streak for the Storm. 

The two teams meet again tonight in Draytkn Valley.
